TURBOCHARGE YOUR ATTITUDE AND TAKE ON THE WORLD
If you've got big plans for a large property, you'll appreciate the massive four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel powerplants featured on our Boomer™ Compact Utility tractors time after time. Now you can take on the toughest grading, digging, hauling and lifting tasks with ease thanks to these gutsy Shibaura engines.
MORE RELIABLE BY DESIGN
Work with fewer worries. The parent-bore engine design eliminates sleeves and the risk of seal failure. What's more, the cylinders are cast as an integral part of the engine block, providing added strength and rigidity.
HARNESS MORE POWER PER GALLON
You can work more efficiently thanks to a unique omega-shaped bowl at the top of each piston that thoroughly mixes air and fuel, producing more horsepower per gallon of fuel.
FEEL CONFIDENT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES
- Enjoy fast starts in cold weather with a quick-heating glow plug.
- Fill up less often with a 13.5-gallon fuel tank.
- Wield ample cranking power from the easy-access, heavy-duty 700 CCA battery.
- Run extra electrical accessories at will. The powerful 40-amp alternator can handle it (55-amp on SuperSuite™ cab).
ENJOY SMOOTHER SHIFTING AND SUPERIOR SHUTTLING
Forward-to-reverse shifting is a breeze on Boomer™ 4000 Series tractors, making them ideal for loader work, blade work and mowing. You also get the advantage of having 12 forward speeds and 12 reverse speeds. That's more than you'll find on competitive utility tractors.
WORK FASTER WITH FEWER STOPS
You can get a lot more done in a day when you can shift from forward to reverse without coming to a complete stop. An easy-to-use 12x12 Synchro Shuttle Shift (SSS) transmission is available on all models.
CLUTCH-FREE SHUTTLING
You can also shuttle between forward and reverse without clutching with an optional 12x12 Electro-Hydraulic Shuttle Shift (EHSS) transmission that's available on all models.
COMMON SENSE OPERATION
One hand is all it takes to shuttle. A handy left-hand, console-mounted shuttle lever leaves your right hand free to operate a loader or other implement.
